Children's World History Pictorial

I am looking for a children's world history pictorial book. It is large format. Most of the illustrations are paints that are very detailed in the style of "Where's Waldo" only a little larger. It was a library book in the mid 1970's. It covered ancient history with Egyptians, Romans, and Greek. Probably mostly ancient history.
Thanks

Maybe the Usborne Book of World History? Or one of the other Usborne publications. They seem to fit the timeline and art style.

Thanks saskia17, This book is a little more modern than what I remember. I have the memory that the art work and tone of the the book was darker. Most of the artwork looked like actual ancient Roman, Greek, and Persian paintings. Art work like, Battle of Alexander versus Darius, https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0b/Pietro_da_Cortona_-_Battle_o...
