What I remember about this book is they are at a ball and he collapses to the floor because he leg gave out and he is embarrassed but she just sits down with him and others sit down with him. And it means so much to him.

I have read this one... but I've read so many historical romances that I don't think I'll be any help. Perhaps part of the Survivor's Club Series from Mary Balogh
