I read this book sometime in the late 2000's/2010's but I'm not sure when it was written.
It was about a girl who I think was at some sort of riding school/college/academy where they get given horses to ride.
Her mum had been killed in a horse accident at a coffin jump on a cross-country course so the girl is scared of this but I think eventually was able to do it.
I think the horse she rode was related in some way to the horse her mum died on.

>2 bookel: It might have been British but I can't remember if it was or was American. I think it had a similar vibe to the Canterwood Crest books

2005-2019 or is that too wide a publishing date? You can search worldcat.org for "juvenile fiction" (subject), horses (keyword) and year range. Use filters if needed. Juvenile fiction, print book, English.

Long shot...any chance it was Perdita by Isabelle Holland?
Written in the 80s. About a teen with amnesia due to trauma, gets a job on an equestrian farm, memory restored via overcoming associated challenges. I think her mother died when she was a child.
