I have a couple of problems with books that will/won’t be recognised as part of a series:
I have added a book to my library, ‘Hidden Treasures: Prayer Handbook 2023/24’ by the Methodist Church. To my surprise, LT has ‘recognised’ it as a different book called ‘Hidden Treasures’ and shows my book as part of the children’s picture book series ‘Rainbow Fish & Friends’. Which I can tell you it most definitely isn’t.
So how do I get my book ‘de-linked’ from the series to which it doesn’t belong?
I have also added the latest Number 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency book, ‘From a Far and Lovely Country’, but LT does not recognise it as part of the series – even though, if you look at the series, the title is already listed as no 24.
So how do I get my book recognised as part of the series to which it belongs?
Both books are very recently published, in the UK, I don’t know if that’s relevant. I would be grateful for any advice.

I have separated your firstbook from the work it didn't belong in.
There are many books with the title 'Hidden Treasures' since there was another wrong book in that work, and the autocombiner ignores anything after a colon, it got caught in the wrong work.
The second book needs to be combined. You should be able to do it from the author page. I'm not going searching for the book, as you haven't bothered to give URLs for the books you eant help with.

I separated a copy of Prayer Handbook and combined it with the only other copy and combined several copies of Far and Lovely. Your library is private so I can't check to see if everything is in the right place now.
You can always ask in the Combiners group for help with this sort of thing: https://www.librarything.com/ngroups/460/Combiners%21

Ok, thanks. I will keep it in my mind.

>2 MarthaJeanne: Many thanks for sorting out Hidden Treasures, and for your patience, I haven’t had this issue before and didn’t realise it was called combining - I'll know for next time.

>3 Taphophile13: Many thanks for your time and trouble. Hidden Treasure is now all sorted.
Likewise With From a Far and Lovely Country by Alexander McCall Smith, with a strange timelag - the book itself showed up as in the series, but didn't show up as owned by me on the series list at first.
Thanks for the link about combining, I’ll keep in mind for future reference.
