how to check out books by cell phone

I run a small church library. Is there anyway our patrons can check out books using their moble phones.

Yes! TinyCat will look and function great no matter what type of device you're on, so you (and your patrons) should just be able to use a mobile browser to use TinyCat.

There is one limitation for mobile use, and that's mobile scanning (whether to search within TinyCat or to check items in/out). Mobile scanning is on our list to look at, and we'll be sure to announce any updates on that front.
