First lines

I think this CK field applies to the work level.

On an author like Jules Verne, the way to distinguish the many, often anonymous, translations is from the first sentence of each “book” (The Mysterious Island has three).

But if all of the translations are combined, this first line field can’t be used in a useful manner.

It is a multi-field so it can be used to record the first words in each translation...

If anything, that is a great use of the field (adding the translator or edition in brackets after the lines will help separating them).
