You could learn a new hobby. Perhaps to play an instrument. Or start making things. I am very fond of textile crafts like knitting, embroidery, sewing and weaving. Other people do woodwork. Baking is also very popular with people who like to eat. Your local library will also have books on how to do these things.

>9 zeroo_: Look at it this way: If you crash into a room of adults who love books, and are busy talking about books, and start complaining about being bored, what do you expect? They are going to start telling you to read a book. If you have too many adults in 'real life' telling you to go read a book, crashing into a site full of people who are also going to tell you to go read a book might not be the best solution. Choosing to complain about your boredom in the group called "Book Talk" is just asking to be told to 'go read a book'.
