Josh Tanner is a lawyer just trying to get through the day and back to his daughter, Sophie. However, everything changes in an instant when Senyak Marztanak, a celestial being, reaches through to Josh to try and prevent a Chaos actor from killing everyone in the elevator Josh occupied. As Sen is in Josh's head, he helps Josh with the Chaos actor, but somehow fails his grandfather's test for acquiring immortality and taking over the family's ruling seat. Now the Sen & Josh are linked through a karmic connection and have become cultivators, they must reach transcendence to help Sen in reaching his goal of attaining his family seat and gaining immortality and so Josh can get back to his world through the mulitverse to reach Sophie.

Josh & Sen Save the Multiverse is a wild ride of a fantasy. It did take me some time to figure out exactly what was going on in the first few chapters as they take place in Sen's reality, which is extraordinarily different than ours. When Sen and Josh connect in the world we know and Sen's grandfather explains more about what he needs the duo to do, the fun begins and things start to fall into place. The writing moves quickly and focuses on the connection and dialogue between Sen & Josh. I like all of the different worlds they visited and challenges they faced while growing and learning together. The mystery of what Senyak's grandfather is trying to accomplish as well as Josh's quest to return to Sophie and Sen's trial to be worthy of his place as heir keeps the story multi-layered. With a cliffhanger ending, I'll be looking forward to the next book in the series.
